Kelleher experiments for Walsh Cup clash
Dublin hurling manager Humphrey Kelleher will field an experimental side for the Walsh Cup clash with Leinster supremos Kilkenny on Sunday.
The Dubs are without Stephen McDonnell, Cormac O'Brien, Dave Sweeney, Tim Sweeney, Shane Martin, Darragh Spain and Derek O'Reilly due to withdrawals and injuries.
Meanwhile, Kelleher's hopes of landing UCD player Bryan Barry have also been dashed after Brian Cody called him up to the Cats panel.
Ger O'Meara and Sean O'Shea have been named in the full-back line, with Tom Russell at corner-forward after he impressed in recent challenge matches.
Risteard Brennan partners Greg Bennett in midfield, while minors Eoin Moran and Alan McCrabbe get their first senior starts in attack.
