Wexford's Jacob out for League campaign
Wexford hurling has been dealt a blow with the news that ace attacker Rory Jacob is out for the entire National League campaign after picking up a groin injury.
Manager Seamus Murphy is already working off a depleted squad and Jacob's absence will further
deprive the squad of attacking options.
Murphy said: "Rory met a specialist last week. On medical advice he has been told to take a complete break until the end of March. This would rule him out of the league."
Given his injury list, Murphy will field an experimental side for tomorrow's Walsh Cup clash against UCD.
Full-back Darragh Ryan is also on the injury list with a knee problem, Paul Carley and Mossie Mahon both have broken bones in their hands, Adrian Fenlon is out due to study commitments and former captain Paul Codd has not rejoined the panel.
