Injury headache for O'Dwyer
Laois manager Mick O'Dwyer is facing further injury woe as star attacker Ross Munnelly is an injury doubt ahead of Sunday week's National League opener against Limerick.
The wing-forward was forced out of Sunday's O'Byrne Cup final against Westmeath six minutes from time after picking up a calf injury.
Munnelly had just recovered from a back injury to return for Sunday's game, which Laois won.
Brian 'Beano' McDonald, Joe Higgins and Tom Kelly are already long-term injuries and the Portlaoise contingent are unavailable due to their upcoming All-Ireland club semi-final.
