Eoin Kelly to captain Waterford in up-coming campaigns

2003 All Star Eoin Kelly will captain Munster hurling champions Waterford for the upcoming National League and Championship campaigns.

The Mount Sion club man will skipper the county side for the first time, taking over the captaincy from club colleague Ken McGrath.

However, Kelly is unable to travel on Waterford's trip to South Africa this week because of work commitments. Lismore's Dave Bennett is also unable to travel.

Waterford host neighbours Kilkenny in their opening National League game on February 20.
