Maughan left without Stephenites

Mayo boss John Maughan will be without his Ballina Stephenites contingent for the entire FBD Connacht League this month.

David Brady, David Clarke, Brian Ruane, Ronan McGarrity and Enda Devenney will remain with their club pending their All-Ireland semi-final clash with Clare champions Kilmurray-Ibrickane on February 20.

However, the club will release the quintet for the county's opening National Football League game against Dublin on February 5.
