Galway's Wade named hurler of the year

Galway minor attacker Kerril Wade has been named the county's Hurler of the Year.

Wade was instrumental for the Tribesmen in the replay of the All-Ireland minor championship final against Kilkenny.

International Rules captain Padraic Joyce was also among 19 people honoured at the 40th County Galway Sports Stars of the Year awards.

Minor hurling boss Matt Murphy picked up the Manager of the Year award.
