Whelan slams 'quick buck merchants'

The Westmeath county board chairman has attacked people who are selling unofficial photographs of the Leinster championship-winning football team.

Seamus Whelan slammed the "quick buck merchants" and warned supporters to be vigilant when buying a team picture.

He said: "Some people are trying to sell various items, including framed team photos, on the back on Westmeath's great run this year.

"Our new crest, which we have just launched, will safeguard us in the future, but I would ask fans to watch out for quick buck merchants this year."
