Kerry county board chairman Seán Walsh has reiterated his belief that next year's GAA Annual Congress will make the decision to open up Croke Park to other sports.

He told delegates at last night's county convention in the Brandon Hotel that it was time to "bring closure" to the issue, but added the change in policy should only apply to Croke Park.

He added: "Our association has never shirked its responsibility in relation to removing rules that were no longer necessary for the good of the association, and I believe Congress 2005 should prove to be another milestone in that regard."
