Dubs in turmoil as Mullins declines
The Dublin county board is beginning the week still without a manager, following Brian Mullins' shock decision not to take charge of the Metropolitan footballers.
Dublin GAA officials had been due to unveil Mullins at a press conference tomorrow night, but Mullins decided he didn't want the post over the weekend after finding out several key proposals of his would not be implemented.
The u-turn is a huge setback to the Dubs' hopes for next year, as many counties are already back training.
A statement on the matter is due from county board secretary John Costello today.
