Fermanagh tops in writers' awards
Fermanagh’s amazing run to the All-Ireland football semi-final this year was recognised at last night's Ulster GAA Writers awards banquet in the Great Northern Hotel.
Midfielder Marty McGrath was awarded the Footballer of the Year title, while boss Charlie Mulgrew picked up the Personality of the Year award.
Hurler of the Year went to Karl McKeegan of Antrim, while Donegal's Maureen O'Donnell won the Lady Footballer of the Year. The camogie award went to Down goalkeeper Teresa McGowan.
The inaugural Cormac McAnallen Young Achiever Award went to Tyrone minor skipper Marc Cunningham.
