Cunningham joins Rebels' coaching staff

Cork goalkeeping great Ger Cunningham will join John Allen's backroom team.

The Cork county board will not ratify the new committee until champions Na Piarsaigh nominate their representative.

Cunningham helped out in a coaching capacity under former manager Donal O'Grady and is a selector on the Cork U21s - a position he would have to relinquish if he were to join the senior selection ranks.
