Cody to stay on at Kilkenny helm

Brian Cody is to stay at the helm of the Kilkenny senior hurling team, but will reshuffle his management team.

Noel Skehan and Johnny Walsh will no longer be involved as selectors.

Former Laois star and manager Michael Dempsey is favourite for the trainers' post, having worked with the Kilkenny U21 side for the last two years.

U21 manager Martin Fogarty is set to be named as a selector.

Cody's backroom team will be ratified at Monday’s county board meeting.
