Gardaí are thought to be probing allegations of death threats levelled against the Australian .

The Aussies trail 77-41 heading into tomorrow's Second Test, and are said to be slightly shaken after suffering, what are assumed to be, crank phone calls at Dublin's Berkeley Court Hotel.

Australian captain Jimmy Hird was the recipient of most of the calls, but at least one other player is also believed to have received threatening messages.
