The draw for the 2005 Ulster football championship was made last night and the most intriguing tie is the preliminary round pairing of last year's All-Ireland champions Armagh and this year's surprise package Fermanagh, who dethroned the Orchard men in the qualifiers.

The winners of that tie go on to meet Ulster runners-up Donegal in the quarter-finals. In the other quarter-finals, Tyrone take on Down, Cavan face Antrim and Monaghan face off against Derry.
