Kennelly may miss out again in International Rules

AFL star Tadgh Kennelly is Ireland’s only injury worry ahead of Sunday’s first International Rules test against Australia at Croke Park.

The former Kerry underage star, who now plays Aussie Rules with Sydney Swans, has picked up a lower back injury, but has continued training with the Irish squad.

He stepped out for his club Listowel Emmets in Saturday’s ill-tempered Kerry SFC quarter-final against An Ghaeltacht.

Kennelly missed last year’s tests through injury.
