Kerry's Tomás Ó Sé has withdrawn from the Irish squad ahead of next weekend's International Rules first test.

Ó Sé was taken to hospital on Saturday with a fractured jaw after picking up the injury during a club quarter-final match.

Meanwhile, Mayo's Ciarán McDonald is an injury doubt ahead of manager Pete McGrath's final cut today.

The star centre-forward pulled up in a trial game last Friday with a hamstring injury. Armagh's Steven McDonald - Ireland's top performer in last year's series - is also carrying a foot injury but is expected to be included.

McGrath will finalise his squad for the two tests against Australia later today.
