Jordan injury puts him out of Rules squad

Tyrone star defender Philip Jordan has pulled out of the Irish International Rules squad because of injury.

Manager Pete McGrath confirmed the half-back had been ruled out of the tests against Australia on October 17 and 24 at Croke Park.

Meanwhile, Kerry’s Michael McCarthy and Mayo midfielder Ronan McGarrity have declared themselves unavailable for the squad, which will be cut from 40 to 27 players at the weekend.
