Dubs unchanged for ladies decider
Dublin manager John O'Leary has named an unchanged side for Sunday's TG4 All-Ireland Ladies football final against Connacht champions Galway at Croke Park.
That means no starting place again for 2001 All-star Louise Kelly, following her omission from Dublin's 2-14 to 3-8 semi-final win over Kerry nearly three weeks ago.
The metropolitans' highly rated sextet of forwards contributed 1-14 of that tally at O'Moore Park, with midfielder Fiona Corcoran fly-kicking a late goal to the Kingdom net.
O'Leary, a two-time winner of the Sam Maguire cup, could garner the county's first ever Ladies success in their second successive final. Team captain Martina Farrell is hopeful the Dubs can banish memories of last year's defeat by Mayo.
"Obviously the aim is to go one better than last year but we are under no illusions about how difficult it is going to be on Sunday," said Farrell, a Crumlin schoolteacher.
"Galway have been in brilliant form all year but we are going to give it everything and hopefully it will be enough."
The Ballyboden star skippers the side from her new centre field position.
