Setanta set for dramatic club return

Setanta Ó hAilpín is rumoured to be on the verge of making a return to club hurling this weekend in Cork.

Home from Australia to prepare for the International Rules series, Ó hAilpín has been training with Na Piarsaigh's senior team ahead of Saturday's Cork SHC quarter-final against Sarsfields at Páirc Uí Rinn (6.15pm).

Na Piarsaigh officials last night confirmed Setanta's availability. Last season's All-Star and Young Hurler of the Year award winner left for Australia to pursue an Aussie Rules Football career with Carlton last year.
