McCarthy celebrates Man of Match award

Cork's Niall McCarthy won the RTE man of the match award for his display in yesterday's All-Ireland hurling final.

The centre-forward dominated in the second-half as the Rebels dethroned Kilkenny and scuppered their bid for a three in a row.

McCarthy chipped over three points from play. He accepted his award at a reception in the Burlington Hotel in Dublin last night.
