Star attacker DJ Carey has given boss Brian Cody a boost as champions Kilkenny seek an All-Ireland three-in-a-row against Cork on Sunday week.

The Cats legend pulled a hamstring in training on Tuesday night, but following a scan yesterday, the Gowran man's injury is not as bad as first feared.
