Clare win inaugural Tommy Murphy Cup
Clare 1-11 Sligo 0-11
Clare have won the inaugural Tommy Murphy Cup competition as they overcame Sligo at Croke Park today.
As well as the trophy, the Banner men win a trip to Boston in October for winning the competition, aimed at giving weaker counties a chance to make it to Croke Park.
Clare manager John Kennedy said his team had been focused on the match since they felt disappointment as they went out of the Munster SFC to Cork.
