Limerick veteran footballer John Quane has called time on his inter-county career.

The Galtee Gaels clubman decided to retire in the wake of Saturday's All-Ireland qualifier defeat by Derry.

Quane made his inter-county debut in 1991 and was on three losing Munster final sides.
