Derry without star players

Derry have injury worries ahead of the much-anticipated all-Ulster football qualifier against Cavan on Sunday.

Star defender and team captain Sean Marty Lockhart and full-forward Johnny Bradley have been ruled out through injury.

Lockhart has picked up an infection in his leg, while Bradley will not figure in the clash because of broken ribs.

Cavan boss Eamon Coleman returns to his native county to face his former sidekick Mickey Moran.

Coleman was sacked as Derry manager and replaced by Moran a year after the pair brought the Sam Maguire to the county in 1993.
