Concerns mount for future of 'B' football championship
Concerns are already mounting for the future of the newly installed All-Ireland 'B' football championship.
GAA President Sean Kelly is keen to give weaker counties something to strive for after elimination from their provincial and back-door structures but some are not keen to take the bait.
The GAA has confirmed that the competition trophy will be named after former Laois football star Tommy Murphy.
But out of the 17 counties designated to take part three have already pulled out with the potential for club fixtures to pile up at the root of the problem.
