Boylan's boys to train with Bradford Bulls
Sean Boylan's Meath football team will train with world rugby league champions Bradford Bulls tonight.
The initiative is designed to help raise the profile of the game in Ireland and Meath are delighted to take part despite the disappointment of Sunday's Leinster defeat to Laois.
A Bulls spokesman said: "Sean Boylan has a lot of respect for the Bulls and I know they are intrigued by what it takes to make a top gaelic football team."
The training session comes hot on the heels of Bradford's trip to Croke Park yesterday, ironically the venue of Meath's defeat 24 hours earlier.
Meanwhile Meath footballer John Cullinane is facing a lengthy suspension after appearing to hit out at Laois' Colm Parkinson on Sunday.
Cullinane was a late substitute in the Royals' Leinster semi-final defeat but didn't last long as referee Pat McEnaney gave him his marching orders soon after.
Parkinson confirmed that it was a kick aimed at him but he escaped uninjured.
