Limerick lead one-sided SFC clash

MUNSTER SFC SEMI-FINAL:

HT: Limerick 1-13 Waterford 0-02, Gaelic Grounds, 3.45pm

A 33rd-minute goal from Conor Mullane has helped 2003 Munster finalists Limerick to a half-time lead of 1-13 to 0-02 at the Gaelic Grounds.

This Munster SFC semi-final is incredibly one-sided with Limerick's Muiris Gavin notching five points and Conor Fitzergald on four points. The Shannonsiders are on course for a meeting against Kerry on July 11 - also their opponents last season.

Shane Walsh (25 minutes) and Ger Walsh (34) have hit the only points for Waterford, with a number of last year's Munster U21 championship winning side in their line-up.

Mullane struck the goal after a great move up field from the Limerick half-back line.

Referee: T Quigley (Wexford)
