O'Hara quits Offaly hurling panel for USA

Offaly hurling star Mick O'Hara has quit the county panel to spend the summer working in America.

The corner-back was supposed to head to the States months back but opted to answer his county's call following an injury crisis and performed well against Laois last Saturday night.

The Ballyskenach clubman has not ruled out a county return if things go well this summer but at the moment insists he's looking forward to heading to America.
