Cork dismiss Setanta comeback rumours

Cork hurling chiefs have made it clear that Setanta O hAilpin will not be making any early return to the county setup.

O hAilpin was hailed as an instant hit Down Under but has since slid back in his progression and is playing in the Victoria Football League for the reserves.

But a Cork source said: "He is gone to Australia and as far as we are concerned that is where he is going to stay. We would be delighted if he decided otherwise but we have heard nothing to say he will.”
