Meath star Sheridan hit with eight week ban

Meath forward Joe Sheridan has been hit with an eight week ban that will rule him out of Sunday week's Leinster clash with Wicklow.

The underage age who has become a big part of boss Sean Boylan's plans was reported for verbally abusing a referee after Meath's under-21 Leinster semi-final loss to Kildare last month.
