Kerry doubts over revamped hurling c'ship
Kerry hurling manager Maurice Leahy has expressed his fears that the new three tier championship system could be a failure.
The controversial HDC proposals got the go ahead at Congress and will see a new three tier championship in operation from next year.
But Leahy said: "There were similar plans drawn up in the past and they came to nothing. We ended up playing teams like Carlow, Westmeath and Wicklow with about 20 people in the stand."
