League champs Kilkenny in experimental mood

Kilkenny manager Brian Cody has opted to experiment ahead of Sunday's NHL tie with Offaly at Nowlan Park.

Kilkenny are in Group 2 of the second phase and can't win the league so Cody will use the tie to look at fresh faces with Brian Hogan making his debut in defence.

Elsehwere, there are recalls for the likes of PJ Ryan, Jackie Tyrell and Aidan Fogarty.
