Condon rocks Carlow football with resignation

Carlow football manager Mick Condon has resigned from the position in a serious blow to the midlands county's championship preparations.

The former Moorefield manager has had a dismal league campaign to date with losses to London and Donegal in recent weeks.

Carlow now face a race against the clock to persuade Condon to reconsider or install a new boss in time for their Leinster SFC opener against Longford on May 9.
