Laois midfielder Clancy doubtful for opener

Laois midfielder Padraig Clancy has emerged as doubtful to be fit for the midlanders' first game in the defence of their Leinster title.

The flame-haired Clancy had surgery on a thumb injury last week and has emerged as 50-50 to make their provincial opener against Longford or Carlow on May 30.
