Dublin hurling bosses want full-time director

Dublin hurling bosses have insisted that Director of Hurling Diarmuid Healy cannot remain in his role on a part-time basis.

Healy has voiced his concerns about the 160-mile round trip to Dublin each day from his Kilkenny home to fulfill his role as capital guru.

But a Dublin source said: "One thing that's for sure is that Diarmuid Healy will not be staying on as part-time Director of Hurling. This is a full-time position."
