Decies destroy dismal Dublin
Waterford 6-17 Dublin 2-12
Dismal Dublin slumped to their third defeat on the spin as Waterford's unbeaten run continued in style at Parnell Park.
In the end a 17 point win for Waterford told its own story as they shot to the head of Div 1A with a six goal scoring spree.
Paul O'Brien was the star man swooping for three goals overall and two early on to leave the visitors 5-7 to 1-4 up at the break.
Dublin were simply blown away despite a couple of goals from Conal Keaney and Kevin Flynn at either end of each half.
In between Waterford racked up the scores centre-forward Sean Ryan hit 0-5 with Allstar John Mullane hitting 1-1 on the day.
The second-half saw a Dublin revival with David Curtin converting some impressive frees.
However, a late goal from Waterford's star man, corner forward O'Brien, sealed a deserved big win for the Munster men.
