Cork raffle raises €22,000 for county coffers

Cork hurling chiefs are singing to the tune of €22,000 after raffling off the Toyota Yaris car presented to them by the GAA for reaching the All-Ireland final.

The Rebels were given the car as reward for their endeavours in 2003 and a raffle organised through the clubs in Cork raised the significant figure which contributed to the team's holiday to Vietnam.
