Tipperary hurling star Tommy Dunne has been named as the Premier County's new captain in succession to Brian O'Meara.

Tipperary hurling star Tommy Dunne has been named as the Premier County's new captain in succession to Brian O'Meara.

Dunne hails from the home of county champions Toomevara and led Tipp to their last All-Ireland title in 2001.
