Keating points winner for Limerick
Waterford 2-5 Limerick 1-9, Ardmore
Waterford were edged out by Limerick in the McGrath Cup Senior Football semi-final at Ardmore this afternoon, as a late injury time point from Eoin Keating gave the visitors the spoils.
Stephen Kelly got Limerick off to the best possible start with a goal in the seventh minute, set up by former Mayo forward Maurice Horan, making his debut in Limerick green.
Waterford hit the front with two second-half goals from Shane Walsh and Andy Hubbard, having been down 1-5 to 0-3 at the interval.
But Maurice Gavin levelled for Limerick going into injury time with a point from a penalty, before Keating struck the winner in the fifth minute of added time.
They will meet Clare who defeated Tipperary at Clonmel, 1-14 to 1-10.
