Tipp 'keeper Cummins to focus entirely on hurling
Tipperary goalkeeper Brendan Cummins has confirmed that he intends to quit inter-county football for good to focus solely on hurling.
Cummins picked up a deserved hurling AllStar last season, and at 29 feels he can only continue to give his best if he leaves football behind, which will be a big blow to big ball boss Andy Shorthall.
Cummins said: "The reality of the situation is that at my age I don't think the body would take the stress and demands of a dual commitment."
