Hurling games set to go under the spotlight
GAA chiefs are considering staging hurling games under lights similar to the concept introduced to football for the first time in last year's NFL campaign.
Cork played Kerry at Pairc Ui Rinn last February and already the idea has caught on to such an extent that hurling is seen as the next step for night time games.
GAA official Sean O Laoire said: "Floodlit hurling is something that we are fully focused on and experimenting with at the moment. It is an emerging item on our agenda."
