McKinley back in Derry hurling hotseat

Dominic McKinley has put all thoughts of quitting the Derry hurlers to one side after clear the air talks with his county panel in Swatragh.

The previous weekend just 10 of his 40 man panel turned out for the first training session of the new season and McKinley was so outraged he threw in the towel.

However, he admitted: "We had a very good turnout of players and I laid it on the line to them what I wanted. I'm a hurling man through and through and I will help them where I can."
