Dublin hurlers want dual star Ryan to return

Dublin's talented dual player Shane Ryan is set to face a tug of war for his services all over again following the appointment of hurling boss Humphrey Kelleher.

Both Ryan and Kelleher hail from the Naomh Mearnog club in Portmarnock and it is likely that the versatile player will be approached about a return to hurling, despite agreeing to focus on football alone.

Kelleher said: "I have been making strides to hopefully get a satisfactory outcome to this but really it is up to Shane and what the football management have to say."
