Cummins back for Tipp footballers
Tipperary hurling Allstar Brendan Cummins is throwing in his lot with the senior footballers for the coming season, having concentrated on hurling in 2003.
Cummins, who is regarded as one of Tipperary¹s prize assets in both football and hurling, played with the footballers at the weekend against University of Limerick in a challenge game, and grabbed three points.
Manager Andy Shorthall has had a successful start to his campaign, with wins over Carlow and now UL, and he will be very happy to have secured Cummins' services.
