Club chairman denies Ó hAilpín abuse

The chairman of a rival club has rejected blame following allegations that two of the talented Ó hAilpín brothers from Cork were racially abused during a club game.

Sean Óg and Aisakie Ó hAilpín were playing for club side Na Piarsaigh in the county SFL final when they were allegedly taunted by supporters of the Doheny's club.

However, Doheny's chairman Raymond Lyons said: "I have it on good authority that nasty personal comments were directed at our players and that is what sparked off the row among the crowd."
