GAA chiefs to address sliothar issue

The GAA are expected to address the outcry from hurling players and management about the weight and flight of the modern sliothar.

A new ball was introduced late in 2002 and the matter eventually came to a head in several high profile situations this year when it was claimed the new sliothar responded poorly in matchday situations.
