The Chief Executive of the Football Association of Ireland, Fran Rooney, has made a plea for the GAA to allow soccer to be played at Croke Park.

Speaking in Frankfurt ahead of today’s World Cup qualifying draw for the 2006 tournament, Mr Rooney says it would be the biggest boost possible for Irish soccer if the GAA headquarters was opened up.
