O'Rourke backtracks on Tyrone's Dooher

Former Meath star and RTE pundit Colm O'Rourke has apologised for slurs he made about Tyrone's Brian Dooher throughout last season's All-Ireland championship.

Dooher had his finest season in a Tyrone jersey as the Red Hands won their first ever All-Ireland title and O'Rourke had to backtrack after saying they win nothing with the Derry based vet in their team.

Speaking at the launch of books to commemorate the year O'Rourke admitted: “I should have apologised earlier and I'm sorry for it."
