Setanta offered Carlton contract

Setanta Ó hAilpín has been offered a contract by Aussie Rules football team Carlton.

A final training run and meeting to thrash out the issue this morning has swayed the Melbourne club to offer the 2003 Young Hurler of the Year professional rookie terms.

Ó hAilpín must provide the club with an answer within 48 hours.
