Kildare blast for Leinster final ref
Kildare official Richie Whelan has blasted the performance of Meath referee Seamus McCormack in last season's Leinster final.
Whelan is set to lash McCormack and question the sendings off of Alan Barry and Mick Wright at tonight's county convention.
Whelan said: "The Kildare players sent off in the final appealed the referee's decision to the GAA, however, both appeals fell on deaf ears. It is hard to understand how a player from a neighbouring county (Stephen Cluxton) had his suspension reduced."
